Another Amazing Day (avoiding thinking about leaving)

I met up with Emily at Rose Bakery for a delicious lunch (well, brunch for me since I didn’t have time to get breakfast). We got to pick what we wanted from the window, goods made from the freshest ingredients, and smelled the incredible fresh baked goods coming out of the oven. Very yummy. And reasonably priced too!

We were right down the street from Kooka Boora, so Em and I headed over and actually got seats! We got a coffee and settled in, I watched Julie and Julia and took notes. So awesome :)

On our way out, we ran into Margaret who was there to pick up a coffee. We then took a lovely walk from the 9th onto rue Montorgueil, past Chatelet out to the Seine, and then along the Seine through our orientation’s hotel, reminiscing about our whole year.

We split up for the rest of the day and I headed to Sugarplum, where I met up with Margaret again and we sat and watched the rest of Julie and Julia together and I said a sad goodbye to the owners of Sugarplum before heading back to my host family for the night. I’m going to miss that place so much! And everyone there! Oh man.

I had a lovely host family dinner, lacking my host dad, and have retreated downstairs to try and finish some more of the work I have to do before I leave. GAH.
